The diaries of 50 persons in Bangkok were blocked on Tuesday morning the 19th of May to attend the CSR seminar, jointly organized by the Netherlands Embassy, SVN Asia and the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce. The leading theme of the presentations and panel discussion was: "CSR + challenging times = Opportunity". Mr. Alex Mavro (Managing Partner of Social Impact Ventures - Asia Co., Ltd,) was with his expertise on the topic well able to moderate the panel discussion and to add interesting remarks to the presentations of panel members Mr. Hein Swinkels (Vice President Finance & IT, Unilever Thai Holdings), Khun Suthichai Eamcharoenying (Preident of Social Venture Network), Khun Apichart (Managing Director of Asia Precision Co., Ltd.) and Mrs. Martine Sprangers (UpTBB Ltd.). The panel members all had different angles to look at Corporate Social Responsibility and the combination with their real life CSR examples and the question from the audience made it an interesting meeting!
