I am a Dutch national working in Asia Pacific for almost 5 years, the last three years in Thailand. I have over 25 years of experience in Industrial Automation and Process Controls. As a consultant my responsibility was to identify automation needs and projects for multinational companies in the Food & Beverage and Household & Personal Care industry. Focussing on these companies business needs such as cost reduction, quality and performance improvement, and energy savings. My customers were located everywhere in Asia Pacific so that I travel quite frequently. Recently I was a Project Manager, responsible for executing these projects,

I am looking for a challenging position where I can effectively use my professional skills and work values that I developed in my current position during recent years. I would like to focus on customer needs and use my strong analysing and solution designing skill for the successful implementation of automation projects. Coaching young inexperienced engineers is also one of my strong skills.

My long international experience is a big advantage for employers who are looking for people in international positions: less relocation cost, no risk of being unable to adjust to the new environment, no problems with the family. I am used to travel 50 % of my time. On top of that I have experience with other cultures, so  will be the ideal candidate for companies looking for a professional that can operate in this region.
