Joint Chambers Luncheon: “2018 Prospects for Thailand Tourism"

On Wednesday 15 November “2018 Prospects for Thailand Tourism and Tourism Ministry's Plan", a Business Luncheon with special guest speaker H.E. Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports Thailand was hosted. 
Khun Kobkarn gave an update on the future direction of Thailand Tourism and the Tourism Ministry’s plans for 2018, as well as the extent to which it will affect business in Thailand both in public and private sectors. Presentation slides can be found below.

NFIA-TNSC Seminar: "Export Logistiscs Europe"

A fruitful seminar with profound speakers from the Export and Logistics sector was organized by the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and the Thai National Shipper's Council Thursday 19 October. During this seminar speeches were given by the representatives of the Thai National Shipper’s Council, Holland International Distribution Council, the Port of Rotterdam, the Customs Attaché of the Netherlands, and by KPMG. Presentations by [1] Remco Buurman (HIDC), [2] Rick Ligthart (Customs) and [3] Sofie Tolk (Port of Rotterdam) can be found below respectively.

Joint Chambers Luncheon: “Thailand Customs 4.0"

On Tuesday 10 October a Joint Chambers Luncheon: "Thailand Customs 4.0" was hosted in partnership with leading bilateral foreign Chambers of Commerce. “Customs 4.0” is a modern platform to improve customer services quality, transparency and efficacy in custom process. A total of 12 programs have been introduced by Thai Customs to align customs service with the world-class standard. Customs Alliances is one among the programs to enhance communication and coordination between Thai Customs and the private sector. In addition to the introduction of “Thai Customs 4.0”, the key changes in new Customs Act B.E. 2560 (2017) and its impact on business were discussed at the event. Baker McKenzie Breakfast Seminar on the New Thai Customs Law

Yesterday, March 13, the NTCC in cooperation with Baker McKenzie, supported by foreign chamber of commerce, welcomed our members at the "Breakfast Seminar on the New Thai Customs Law" at Oriental Residence Bangkok. The seminar, conducted by Mr. Panya Sittisakonsin, Tax Partner, had focused on the law’s key implications for businesses, as well as an overview of the direction and focus areas that Baker McKenzie expect the Thai Customs Department to emphasize in its audits in the future.

Jyske Bank Danish Christmas 2017 Luncheon

On the past Saturday, November 25, 2017, NTCC members together pre-celebrated the Christmas at The Admiral's @ 24 - Pub & Restaurant.
