On 30 March 2021, the NTCC has successfully organised “Break-through Indoor Growing, No longer a dream” at Park Hyatt Bangkok.

This was a 90-minute session hybrid conference, sharing best practices of successful collaboration in the value chain.

Conference topics were inspiring talk for South-East Asia’s next steps into Indoor growing.

Thanks to the international speakers from USA, Israel, Singapore and the Netherlands, next call to actions have been clarified to Asian peers.

The session discussed the value chain proposed and its cooperation with retail, online fresh market, government, and involvement of consumer communities in major cities.

Quote by Justin Schoemaker, VP Infinite Acres:

“Today’s technology has made return of investments of turnkey facilities feasible. High-tech and fully automatized facilities have returns within 3 to 4 years, depending on cooperation with retailer arrangement. The product quality and consistency is beyond people’s expectations and food supply is assured”
