Signify and BHIRAJ BURI GROUP Partner to Power Smarter, Greener Spaces

Strategic collaboration combines lighting innovation, digital technologies and Zero CapEx solutions to accelerate ESG and Net Zero ambitions across BBG’s portfolio.

Bangkok, Thailand – Signify Commercial (Thailand) Ltd., the world leader in lighting and lighting solutions under the Philips brand, and BHIRAJ BURI GROUP (BBG), one of Thailand’s leading district ecosystem developers, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance the development of Smart & Sustainable Spaces through the integration of lighting innovation, digital technologies, and energy-efficient solutions.

The collaboration aims to enhance energy performance, improve user experiences, and create long-term business value across BBG’s portfolio, which includes office buildings, exhibition and convention centers, hotels, restaurants, and sports facilities. Leveraging more than 130 years of lighting expertise, Signify will support BBG’s sustainability roadmap through its smart lighting innovations and the Interact connected lighting platform.

As part of the agreement, Signify and Philips have been appointed as the Preferred Lighting Brand for BBG’s projects. Signify will provide expertise in lighting design, energy performance optimization, IoT-enabled lighting applications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support the adoption of next-generation lighting technologies.

BITEC BURI: Turning Strategy into Action



The partnership has already been translated into action at BITEC BURI, the first project implemented under the collaboration.

Signify has supported the lighting upgrade across key areas, including exhibition halls, meeting rooms, public circulation spaces, and underground parking facilities. The project features high-efficiency Philips LED lighting and intelligent lighting management systems designed to improve energy performance while enhancing safety, operational efficiency, and visitor experience. The deployment demonstrates how lighting can play a strategic role in helping organizations modernize facilities, improve sustainability performance, and create more comfortable and engaging environments for users.

Accelerating Transformation with Zero CapEx



A key enabler of the BITEC BURI project is Zero CapEx by Signify, an innovative financing model that allows organizations to implement LED lighting and connected lighting systems without significant upfront capital investment.

By removing budget barriers, the model enables organizations to move forward with sustainability upgrades more quickly while immediately benefiting from energy savings and operational efficiencies. The approach also supports a faster and more scalable pathway toward ESG commitments and Net Zero objectives.
